Schedule: Full-time is preferred, with flexibility for mornings , evenings and weekends.
You’re hungry to grow your income and skillset through Community Solar sales and project activations.
You’re comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face or over video to explain program details and savings.
You follow a proven consultation and sales process and are open to coaching to improve enrollments.
Compensation: Combination of bonuses and commission tied to Community Solar enrollments and successful activations, with performance-based promotions into team lead and manager roles.
We move quickly and respect your time. Most new Energy Consultants are fully onboarded and making their first Community Solar sales within a few weeks.

No. Many of our top Energy Consultants came from hospitality, retail, or other industries. We provide structured training on products, the energy market, and our sales process. Prior sales experience helps, but being coachable and driven matters more.
This role involves meeting with homeowners, so local travel is typically required. Some markets offer hybrid or remote-friendly options for consultations done by video. We’ll clarify what’s available in your area during your intro call.
Most new consultants complete onboarding and core training within 1–2 weeks, and make their first sales shortly after. Your pace will depend on your availability, effort, and how quickly you implement the training.
Expect a mix of daytime and early evening appointments when homeowners are available. Full-time commitment is preferred, but we can discuss part-time paths for the right candidates during your interview.
We’ll get to know your background, walk you through the role and compensation structure, answer your questions, and determine together whether it makes sense to move forward to a formal interview.
